Turkey's Peace and Brotherhood Gatherings project, organized by the Ministry of Interior, is rapidly expanding to foster unity and provide solace. This significant initiative is designed to bring together families of martyrs and veterans, creating a powerful network of support and friendship across the nation.

Connecting Communities from East to West

The project specifically brings participants from Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia to other regions of Turkey. These meaningful journeys include families affected by terrorism, earthquake victims, and women, all of whom are building vital bonds of solidarity. The program aims to strengthen national unity by connecting diverse communities through shared experiences.

Significant Reach and Expansion

The initiative has already achieved a substantial reach. In its first phase, the project connected with 6,630 citizens across 46 provinces. Due to its success, the program has been expanded nationwide to encompass all 81 provinces, significantly widening its impact and outreach.

Recent Gatherings Strengthen Bonds

The second phase of the gatherings has already seen active participation. Recent travels have included groups of 625 women participants on journeys that spanned from cities like Konya and Afyonkarahisar to Osmaniye, Bursa, and Van. Each journey serves as a new opportunity to forge friendships and share stories of resilience.

The Ministry of Interior has reaffirmed its commitment to continuing these efforts. The goal is to ensure that the spirit of brotherhood, unity, and love continues to flourish in every corner of Turkey, providing ongoing support to those who have given so much for the nation.
